The brief was a competition for all students as well as professionals set by the folio society celebrating their republishing of The Outsider so will have to wait and see for results. . .

Part 1, chapter 1 - 'The hearse was gradually picking up speed and the old man was losing ground.'
Part 1, chapter 2 - 'I smoked a couple of cigarettes, went inside'

Part 2, chapter 5 - 'while all through the night I waited patiently for the the dawn to break above the skylight.'

Abstract Book

Artist abstract book
Aesop's fable of the bald man and the fly . . .

There was once a Bald Man who sat down after work on a hot summer's day. A Fly came up and kept buzzing about his bald pate, and stinging him from time to time. The Man aimed a blow at his little enemy, but his palm came on his head instead;
again the Fly tormented him, but this time the Man was wiser and said:
"You will only injure yourself if you take notice of despicable enemies."

Editorial

Two editorial pieces.

Based on article about a rub on cream breast enhancer, which in case you are interested, it has not been proven to work.
I printed this lino cut in a variety of colour schemes but this was the most successful.

This second is based on organs being illegally acquired and sold by some hospitals in south Africa.
