Something different

I've just got back from a busy month of working décor at some British festivals. Not all painting but I did get stuck in when I got the chance. I had varying roles and levels of responsibility with each of these items, some were entirely me and some I just rigged.
Worked with lovely people every time and learnt a lot from each experience.

Results are back from the Puffin Student Design Award, and the winner was . . . . . . . . . . . .  Tim Parker

But hey it's not all about winning right? Congratulations to the winners of Puffin and Penguin, I had a great time at the ceremony and good to meet the people behind Puffin.

The letter book changed into a silent narrative about women traded for marriage, so the content is now a bit darker but some good spreads coming out of it . . .

sixbyfour

Dropped into the sixbyfour exhibit which I donated a 6"x4" piece to. Some interesting ideas and images, regret not taking more photos really. Anybody around Bedminister, Bristol, go check it out!

Bald man and the fly

Finally got round to uploading my one-night animation

A short animation made illustrating Æsop Fables The Bald Man and the Fly.

THERE was once a Bald Man who sat down after work on a hot summer's day. A Fly came up and kept buzzing about his bald pate, and stinging him from time to time. The Man aimed a blow at his little enemy, but—whack—his palm came on his head instead; again the Fly tormented him, but this time the Man was wiser and said: "YOU WILL ONLY INJURE YOURSELF IF YOU TAKE NOTICE OF DESPICABLE ENEMIES."
